Organizational Framework (Draft)

The concept of KI emerged in a post-secondary teaching and learning context, but the application of the framework to the private sector is a natural next step. A draft framework might be: 

  • Organizations are built on knowledges
  • The Knowledges of the employees are the strength of the organization
  • The Interchange of Knowledges is an extension of Knowledge Management
  • The process of Knowledges Interchange is based on mutual respect
  • The ROI in a KI process is proportional to the Investment
  • Communication is central to KI
  • Technology is key to KI
